Cinq ouvriers parisiens au chômage voient leur chance tourner quand ils remportent le gros lot de la loterie nationale. Copains de longue date, les cinq hommes décident d’investir ensemble dans la création d’une guinguette au bord de la Marne. Mais, une fois passé l’enthousiasme des débuts, le destin va mettre à rude épreuve la solidarité du groupe...
Notes : Deux fins différentes de La Belle Equipe furent tournées et proposées aux spectateurs. La première, jugée trop pessimiste fut écartée par le public de 1936. La seconde fin, plus optimiste, plus à la gloire de l’idéal de solidarité exalté par le Front Populaire fût choisit par les spectateurs. Aujourd’hui, c’est avec sa conclusion d’origine que nous vous proposons de (re)découvrir ce classique.
