People’s behavior is always determined by their unconscious impulse. To illustrates his theory Professor Laborit selects three destinies: Jean, a careerist middle class man, Janine, an actress of humble origins, and René, the son of a peasant, who has built his own textile company. All three characters face difficult choices in life-changing situations.
