Porträt einer Gruppe von Hafenarbeitern, die seit der Schließung der Werft vor fünf Jahren arbeitslos sind. Jeden Montag gehen Santa und seine Kameraden auf der Suche nach Arbeit in die Stadt, doch Arbeit ist in dieser armen Region im Norden Spaniens rar. Die von Santa angeführte Gruppe befindet sich in einem ständigen Kampf mit Bänkern und Arbeitgebern und ist entschlossen, ihre Rechte und ihren Stolz zu verteidigen.
