Onami tient un petit commerce dans un quartier populaire de Tokyo. À cause des dettes créées par son frère Hirotarö, la jeune femme se retrouve prise dans une impasse et doit se prostituer. Deux des habitants du quartier vont alors s’allier pour l’aider et éviter cette issue.
