At Sea

In this documentary, Peter Hutton films the life cycle of a gigantic container ship, the Toledo-Spirit. From its construction in a shipyard to the day it runs aground on a beach, the film observes the work of men in the face of the immensity of industrial structures, in a meditation on progress, both physical and metaphorical.
