The Turin Horse

The film"s page

Inspired by an episode in Friedrich Nietzsche's life in Turin in 1889, the film follows the daily life of an elderly coachman, his daughter, and their horse on an isolated farm. Their routine is disrupted when the horse suddenly stops working and eating. As the wind blows continuously, their surroundings seem to gradually descend into darkness.
