Simon Léotard, promoteur immobilier, se retrouve ruiné par Lepidon, un concurrent véreux. Ce dernier lui réclame le remboursement des traites qu'il a consenties à Julien, l’associé de Simon qui vient de se suicider. Simon va se venger de Lepidon grâce à Mado, une jeune prostituée dont il tombe amoureux.
