Vier Freunde in ihren Vierzigern haben Probleme mit Frauen. Etienne, ein Angestellter und tadelloser Ehemann, gibt eines Tages den Sirenen einer schönen Unbekannten nach. Simon ist ein hypochondrischer Arzt, der von seiner Mutter erdrückt wird, Daniel ist ein fröhlicher Garagenbesitzer, der seine Homosexualität verheimlicht, und Bouly ist so sehr mit der Jagd nach Frauen beschäftigt, dass er nicht ahnt, dass seine Frau versucht, ihn zu verlassen.
