Eines Abends lernt Nelly Loulou kennen, einen jungen Mann, der auf der Straße lebt. Nachdem ihr Mann sie rausgeschmissen hat, zieht sie zu Loulou. Bald ist sie schwanger, aber Loulou ändert sein unstetes Leben nicht, verbringt seine Zeit mit seinen Kumpels und begeht kleine Raubüberfälle. Nelly ist von seiner Haltung zutiefst verletzt und beschließt, das Kind nicht zu behalten.
