A proposition by Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute

Set against the conservative Taiwanese society of the 1960s, this film boldly reverses gender roles by portraying a woman actively pursuing romance. Director HSIN Chi skilfully wraps this subversion of gender dynamics in a playful comedy, presenting progressive ideas of free love and gender equality. It stands as a landmark Taiyupian exploring modern female autonomy and awareness.
