Edouard Coleman, un commissaire de police rendu apathique par ses enquêtes dans le milieu de la pègre, traîne son spleen dans une boîte de nuit parisienne et y retrouve sa maîtresse Cathy, la femme du patron. Ce dernier, Simon, est également l’ami d’Edouard, mais s’avère aussi être, à l’insu du policier, le cerveau d’un gang de braqueurs doublé d’un trafiquant de drogue.
