A very personal portrait of the sister of the film-maker, shortly before she died of cancer. Penetrating and intimate conversations were shot with a digital video camera. This medium, also new for the film-maker, made it possible for him to record the talks in their entirety, spontaneously and without much productional preparations. In the editing, the original mood and the duration of the shots has been respected.

However he has not forgotten his past or how the leading citizens used to scorn him. So Perrin uses his new won fame to pave the way for revenge.

The story about a very small god-forgotten village in Siberia reflects the history of Russia from the beginning of the century till early 80s. Three generations try to find the land of happiness and to give it to the people. One builds the road through taiga to the star over horizon, the second &#x27;build communism&#x27; and the third searches for oil. The oil is found but the destruction of the old cemetry and everything the people of the village cared for followed to get the &#x27;black treasure&#x27; of Siberia.

A Latin palindrome is the title of Guy Debord&#x27;s last film, in which he, as narrator, explains that he will make neither concessions to the tastes of his viewers nor to the dominant ideas of his day. After extensively insulting the audience that goes to the cinema to forget its heteronomous life, the film becomes autobiographical, using images from the world of spectacle: advertising brochures, clips from feature films (Les enfants du paradis), comics, aerial footage of Paris, tracking shots through Venice, photographs of friends - all commented on by Debord, with an at times melancholy undertone: &quot;This Paris no longer exists.&quot; His assessment is that one of the great pleasures of his life has been the sensation of the passage of time, and as a witness to the disintegration of social order, he has loved his epoch.
