Jeanne Herry

• French director and scriptwriter, born in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1978.

  Jeanne Herry studied theatre in London before joining the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Paris. Alongside her acting career, she wrote her first novel, 80 étés (80 Summers) in 2005, then gradually devoted her time to writing and directing. Her first feature film, Number One Fan (2014), took the form of a detective story with comedic overtones, based on the relationship between a fan and her singer. In Safe Hands followed in 2018, then the series Mouche – a French adaptation of Fleabag – and All Your Faces (2023) about restorative justice, which won three nominations at the Césars. In 2026, Another Day, starring Adèle Exarchopoulos and Sara Giraudeau, was presented in official competition at Cannes.
