Suzy Banyon est une adolescente américaine fraîchement échue à Fribourg pour intégrer une prestigieuse école de danse. Alors qu’elle arrive sous l’orage au lieu-dit, une étudiante est assassinée par une force obscure… Dans ce château inquiétant transformé en école, Suzy va être témoin de faits de plus en plus étranges.
Notes : Suspiria est le premier film fantastique de Dario Argento. Le réalisateur avait découvert l’actrice Jessica Harper dans Phantom of the Paradise de Brian de Palma.
