Le docteur André Berthier et son épouse Colette filent le parfait amour depuis maintenant trois ans. Un soir, André rencontre dans un taxi une jeune femme qui le séduit aussitôt. Cette étrangère se révèle être Mitzi, la meilleure amie de Colette, qui vient lui rendre visite.
Note : avec Une heure près de toi, Ernst Lubitsch réalise un remake parlant de son film Comédiennes (1924).
