Alain Chabat

  • French actor and director, born in 1958 in Oran (Algeria).

After starting his career in radio, as a host and comic, Alain Chabat joined Canal+ in 1984 where he formed Les Nuls with Bruno Carette, Chantal Lauby and Dominique Farrugia. His adaptation of Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra was a huge public and critical success.
He now alternates between activities as a director and a producer, while pursuing his acting career, notably in Quentin Dupieux’s Reality, in 2015.
